NORTH WOODS RETREAT

Northern Wisconsin

This north woods retreat, built by local craftsmen who were encouraged in the creative use of structural logs, transforms the traditional Adirondack “sticking” motif into a three dimensional architectural language of structure, connection and shelter.

The home was constructed of materials that were selectively harvested from and processed on the owner’s property.
