KEE Architecture provided interior design services for the spacious Nolen Shores Condominium. The clients wanted an open floor plan for the public spaces while taking advantage of the spectacular views of Lake Monona.

The design delineates space without using walls because of the bi-level ceiling that has shelves to conceal the indirect lighting and define space. Furniture groupings and programmable lighting further defines areas and functions. This allows the flexibility to change arrangement and function seasonally or by whim.

The exterior glass served as inspiration to make the bedrooms and office/den relate to the public space. A tall narrow window next to the fireplace connects the bedroom and great room - as a connecting window between the den/office and the kitchen area.
