KEE Architecture provided interior design and interior architecture services. The clients wanted to create a private family retreat that was designed to take advantage of a unique site that featured a private lagoon along the shoreline peninsula. The design maximized the views while sheltering the house from the nearby road and other homes.

The interior design drew inspiration from the surrounding nature and included many natural materials, integrating it with the site. Wood, stone and metal are incorporated in a manner expressive of the honesty and simplicity of the structure as well as the warmth of each of the materials. Neutral colors with earth-based accents were selected to enhance the bright warm environment.

The plan organizes the separate functions of the house. The public spaces are located in a triangular form which groups the living room dining room and kitchen. A rectilinear form supports the private living spaces, separate but contiguous on the first floor.
